Harrison Grierson’s managing director, Alastair Kent-Johnston announces that the company’s recently formulated 5 year strategic plan will lead the company into more diversified client and project portfolios that will provide increased growth and profitablity.

Mr Kent-Johnston stated, “the organisation will be more closely aligned to the market sectors of Land and Buildings, Water and the Environment, Utilities (Energy and Telecommunications) and Transport.  The Company has a long, project track record of working in the Land and Buildings and Water and the Environment Sectors from a regional perspective.  However, the Company will leverage its local expertise to achieve increased knowledge sharing that will provide greater benefits to our clients. We will continue to focus on organic growth in our traditional areas of business and look at a range of opportunities for strong growth in the Utility and Transport Sectors.

At the heart of our strategy is the new vision for the company which is, “To act as a trusted advisor for our clients to creatively plan, design and implement solutions that enhance our natural, social and built environments.”  Our vision is succinctly expressed in the maxim,  Creative Thinking | Better Environments.

Our strategy recognises the market forces of population growth, urbanisation and sustainability on our clients businesses and these are seen as opportunities that we can convert into business growth and increased revenue that will bring long term benefits to the whole organisation.”
