Harrison Grierson has recently presented to the board of Fisher and Paykel its design of the next stage of infrastructure and site development for Building THREE at the company’s huge Healthcare Campus in the hi-tech industry parkland of South East Auckland.  Building THREE is over three hectares in area and will house a large area of office space and the manufacture of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Products including the Company’s world leading respiratory chronic and acute care products. This project continues a close working relationship between the two companies that stretches back over fourteen years.

For the last eight months Harrison Grierson engineers have advised the company on infrastructure requirements for the site and prepared designs for this latest development that will integrate and future proof all the facilities on site.  To date ten hectares of building floor space and many kilometres of utility services and roading have been developed.  A significant emphasis has been placed on the visual amenity associated with this industrial site and Harrison Grierson has created attractive features out of stormwater lakes and internal pedestrian and roading networks producing a great working environment.

Harrison Grierson is currently managing the enabling works to shorten programme timelines and allow the main contract to get underway. The main civil contractor for the project has been appointed and construction has commenced.

“Central to this project has been the ability and design efficient and cost effective infrastructure that supports a rapidly growing industry”, according to Harrison Grierson Director, John Tik.
