Feasting on Diversity
MAY 2011
Harrison Grierson held its sixth annual Staff Cultural Diversity Day at its head office on 20th May. The day is part of what we do to value diversity and create inclusive workplaces. This year the richness of our diversity was expressed in a cultural feast of foods from around the world, proudly prepared by staff (or their partners!) representing their cultural heritage and shared by a very large gathering of staff. 26 cultures were represented and the culinary experience was nothing short of amazing or calories.
Harrison Grierson seeks to leverage its competitive advantage off its team of diverse professionals who are rich in talent and creative ideas. It's how we see the future. We also recognise our clients are increasingly diverse and our ability to understand their values, attitudes and communication styles are important to us and the work we do. The company encourages feedback through our formal business systems and through informal interaction in the workplace and outside of work on social and recreational activities. We are always seeking to understand and appreciate our differences.
