Harrison Grierson is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret Devlin as an independent director to the Harrison Grierson Consultants Limited Board. It is the first time in the employee-owned Company's history that Harrison Grierson has appointed a non-executive director.

Chairman Gary Clark welcomed the appointment saying "We are pleased to be adding an independent, experienced and highly qualified individual to our Board. Margaret is a respected business leader who will bring fresh perspectives. She has a successful track record and the right combination of executive, financial and operational expertise that I am confident will help us develop and execute Harrison Grierson's growth strategy."

Mrs Devlin comes to Harrison Grierson with over 20 years experience working at senior executive and director level in both the infrastructure and retail sectors in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In her last  management role Mrs Devlin was Managing Director of the UK water company, South East Water, a business with over 2 million customers and a turnover of UKP 190 million. Mrs Devlin left South East Water in 2006 to live and work in New Zealand. Margaret currently holds directorships at City Care, Midland Health Network and Moto International Holdings and is Deputy Chair of WEL Networks and Chair of EPIC Limited,  Scott Sheet Metal Manufacturing and CF Reese Limited.
