SEPTEMBER 2009

On 14th September, Harrison Grierson was officially accepted by the Standards and Accreditation Board of the Institution of Professional Engineers NZ as a Professional Development Partner.  The Institution recognises that Harrison Grierson has a strong professional development programme with pathways to IPENZ competence based membership classes and registers and acknowledges this will also strengthen the Company’s business and the wider engineering profession.

Paul Gardner, Professional Development Manager from IPENZ, visited the Company’s head office in Auckland to present the PDP accreditation certificate as well as discuss in detail the competence assessment process, IPENZ membership and continuing professional development with engineering employees. The discussion was a chance for senior engineers, graduates, technologists and technicians to engage with IPENZ on an individual basis and discuss professional development topics in an open and interactive forum.
