Oxfam's World Water Day a Great Success
back to Making a Difference
MARCH 2009

Team Harrison Grierson took part in Oxfam’s World Water Day Challenge 2009 at Cheltenham Beach, Auckland and came second in the event to help raise awareness of the millions of women and children who spend hours a day carrying up to 20kg of water to and from their homes – precious hours they would rather spend at work and school. Fund raising by the team collected $980 for the cause.
