Glen Cornelius

After leading HG’s transformation over 12 years, Glen stepped aside as our Chief Executive on 31 March this year. We’re delighted he’s stayed on as Head of Strategic Initiatives.

With his considerable experience across business management, project management, infrastructure design, construction, and environmental and civil engineering design, Glen’s perfectly poised to ensure HG is fully geared up for a dynamic and changing world.

“I love that the work HG does helps to create a better world for people to live, work and play,” he says. “What our dedicated and talented team of people achieve, right across Aotearoa, makes a positive impact on the communities we serve.”

Glen was recently sworn into the prestigious role of President of Engineering New Zealand.  He’s also Chair of Habitat for Humanity – a charity and community housing provider, and he sits on the board of ACE New Zealand.  Despite his busy life, Glen still finds time to enjoy running, cycling, and a healthy dose of the ocean, whether it’s swimming, diving, or just being out on the water.
