Peter knows all too well that Aotearoa, New Zealand as a whole has an unacceptable work safety record and that’s something he’s working hard to improve.
“My small influences will hopefully bring about a multiplicity of changes through people taking responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing, as well as that of their workmates,” he says.
“Growing a safety culture – ensuring people are safe in the workplace - influences everything else they do. I know that the fewer challenges I have, the safer the workplace environment.”
Peter is addicted to his weekly dose of grandchild tonic, interspersed with Nordic crime TV drama, and daily adoration from his Griffon dogs.
