Clare Covington

As our Auckland Planning Manager, Clare has input into a wide range of our projects especially large scale, land use and subdivision developments.  She also provides our clients with strategic planning advice on plan changes and other planning legislation, and she appears as an expert witness at Council and Environment Court Hearings.

After being part of our planning team for 25 years, Clare really enjoys mentoring young planners, helping them to gain confidence and experience to enable their career advancement and also supporting the continued growth of our planning team.

At weekends, Clare likes watching her sons play football, which they do “a lot”.  A big fan of live music she tries to go to gigs wherever she can – especially if it's 80s and 90s Brit bands. And for some peace and quiet, she enjoys walking and exploring Auckland’s Regional Parks.
