Scott King

Land Development and Civils Manager - Bay of Plenty & Waikato

Scott is a highly skilled Chartered Professional Civil Engineer with over 25 years’ experience, most of which have been spent in the Waikato looking after the infrastructure elements of a variety of land development projects.

Now Land Development & Civils Manager for the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, Scott’s primary area of expertise is stormwater management, including wetland design and low impact solutions.

A straight talker himself, Scott is a keen believer in frank communication and effective project management to deliver on client promises.

“My job is to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently across resourcing, project management and client delivery” he says. “I also have a technical review role on a number of our key projects. I love that Harrison Grierson is an Aotearoa New Zealand based, staff shareholder owned company that is making a positive difference across the country.”

Scott takes great pride in being involved in key community projects, and names the successful Victoria on the River and Rototuna Town Centre developments in Hamilton as two of his highlights to date.

Outside of work, he enjoys road running, and long tramps out in the NZ bush.
