As a Team Leader and Principal Engineer, Walter provides technical leadership across a wide range of developments, ensuring practical, cost-effective solutions that respond to complex site constraints and project requirements. He is particularly experienced in brownfield developments and enabling works, where his ability to navigate existing infrastructure and challenging conditions consistently delivers successful outcomes.
Walter’s project experience is broad and varied, including residential subdivisions, large-scale commercial developments, transport infrastructure, education facilities, healthcare environments, and industrial sites. He takes a holistic approach to engineering, combining strong design capability with careful planning, risk identification, and value engineering to achieve efficient and buildable solutions.
A collaborative leader, Walter works closely with clients, councils, and multidisciplinary teams to guide projects through every stage of the development lifecycle. He is passionate about mentoring emerging engineers and fostering technical growth within his team, ensuring the next generation is equipped with both practical skills and strong professional values.

When he’s not working, Walter loves spending time with his wife and two daughters—especially getting outdoors together on hiking and camping trips. He also enjoys hands-on projects, often found tinkering in the garage, and takes every opportunity he can to get out for a bit of off‑road exploring.
