Together with the Fletcher Building team, we prioritised the features that would deliver the greatest value first to create the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) design. With an eye on the horizon, we also worked through future-proofing the tool to ensure Fletcher Building can add new features for greater efficiency and value to the business.

Our discovery phase is about collaboration to understand the problem to solve and how we might design and deliver the right solution. It was clear that Fletcher Building required a single source of truth database of location-based property data.
Outcomes
HG’s Digital Team built a Property Lease and Asset Management Tool that enables Fletcher Building to see all its properties across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia on a single interactive map. The tool enables all available information for a property to be viewed with a click of a mouse and produces customisable alerts and reports so that anyone in the business can get the insights they need. It provides a simple editing tool allowing data and property information to be interrogated, edited, or created as needed.
